Safari gets slow and consumes significant Ram Memory after upgrading to El Capitan

I am using Macbook pro 13 inch 2013. After upgrading to Mac OS X 10.11 El capital, the safari seems to work slowly and takes a lot of ram memory. Sometimes it get frozen, at the consequence, I need to use Force Quit to get rid of the trouble temporarily. Is there any can help?

You may need to do 2 following things to fix the problem.
1- Clear History.
Click on Safari from the top menu bar, then select Clear History.

2- Uninstall and remove completely all existing extensions.
