iBooks won't download or update after in Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

#1

I am having a trouble after upgrading to OS X El capitan. There seems to know signal that the iBooks app will download or update like it used to do right away in OS X 10.10 Yosemite. I do not have an iPad while the iPhone’s screen is not big enough.
Did any one experienced this problem?

@RDavPSP, that was my problem. iBooks won’t download after El Capitan update since some cache files generated by this App in Yosemite somehow prevent it from working well in new OS X 10.11.
What you need to do is removing the following files:
From Finder menu bar, hold down the option key to be able to access the Library folder (Go ▹ Librar).

  1. Delete com.apple.ibooks.cookies file in Cookies/
  2. Delete com.apple.ibooks.plist (Preferences/com.apple.ibooks.plist).
  3. com.apple.iBooksX (Containers/com.apple.iBooksX).
  4. And move com.apple.BKAgentService inContainers/com.apple.BKAgentService to somewhere on the desktop.
  5. Then follow the below instruction picture.

Your iBooks app will 100% work normally in Mac OS X 10.11 El capitan after the above process.
